TALES OF MUGABI – LIVE ALBUM RECORDING EVENT
An Intimate Experience in Sound, Healing, and Storytelling

On January 14th, 2025, Kenneth Mugabi recorded his most personal body of work yet — Tales of Mugabi — during a deeply emotional live session that brought together music lovers, mental health advocates, and fellow creatives. Held in an intimate setting, this special event marked the beginning of a transformative journey through sound and soul.

Tales of Mugabi is not just an album; it is a journal of vulnerability, reflection, and healing. Recorded live with a full band and a select audience, the session captured the raw, unfiltered essence of Mugabi’s storytelling. Songs from the album explore themes of loneliness, hope, resilience, and emotional truth — inviting listeners to confront their inner worlds and find peace in shared humanity.

The recording event featured immersive soundscapes, minimalist staging, and emotive visuals that complemented the soul-stirring performances. Each note carried the weight of lived experience, offering a sense of closure to a chapter Mugabi has long carried in silence.

This album is a landmark in Kenneth Mugabi’s career — a heartfelt tribute to the power of music as a tool for mental health awareness and social change. It also sets the tone for a year-long conversation that will unfold through community shows, intimate performances, and a grand concert in September.

Tales of Mugabi is set for release in July 2025.
